Felicity School is a private therapeutic day school committed to the fundamental belief that all students can achieve greatness and success in settings that accentuate their skills. Felicity School is a non-traditional school environment with open and flexible spaces that alleviates negative feelings students may associate with a more traditional school setting.
Through integrated vocational programs, experiential learning, individualized programming, technology. mentoring and individual and group counseling, students are provided with the resources to develop a sense of self-worth, accept responsibility, and become equipped to make healthy life choices. Our students gain an understanding of ethics and values while developing a strong sense of community.
Our student to staff ratio is a maximum of 10 students working with 2 staff members (one certified teacher and one paraprofessional). Related services staff are available as directed by each student’s Individualized Education Plan. We serve students ages 11 to 21 years old. Our access to a wide variety of activities and experiences creates a unique sense of belonging.

Our Vision
Felicity School aims to be Chicagoland’s premier private therapeutic day school, employing superior staff and facilities to provide a curriculum and experience focused on the individual. Felicity School will cultivate successful students who can engage in future goal setting in and out of the academic environment.
Our philosophy focuses on the development of the Mind, Body and Spirit. Our teaching focuses on the following outcomes: developing problem solving skills, incorporating appropriate morals into individual growth, establishing a healthy lifestyle, becoming a good employee as well as a smart consumer, giving back to the community, building useful social skills and appreciating the beauty found in nature, art and music.
